School/Team Skate-A-Thon
Get your group ACTIVE in fundraising!

Skating is a fun sport that anyone (yes, anyone!) can
do.  Whether by figure skating or playing hockey,
skaters develop coordination and balance that can
easily benefit other sports and activities.

The concept of the Skate-a-Thon is simple.  Each
member of your organization is responsible for securing
sponsors to donate a 'per-lap' dollar amount in
conjunction with the event.  When your group takes the
ice for the Skate-a-Thon, Elite Skating staff will count
and chart the number of laps around the rink each
participant skates.  Then, you collect donations based
upon the pledges!
In partnership with your
organization, Elite Skating
will host your members
and guests for a fun-filled
afternoon or evening of
skating that is sure to
raise necessary funds for
you!

Elite Skating specializes in details.  Based upon the needs of your organization, we will:
Schedule your event at a local skating rink

Provide promotional materials for skaters and organizers

Help you plan ways to maximize your fundraising potential during the event

Provide Professional skating instructors for your event to help less experienced
skaters and monitor everyone on the ice

Customize on-ice games and activities for your group

Help track activity during the event

Elite Skating can also conduct group lessons, based upon the size of your event!
