Powerskating Fundamentals
As anyone who coaches and plays the game of hockey knows, the game is more than just the
stick and the puck!  Proper skating technique is an invaluable and necessary component to
both a good offense and defense.  Power, quickness, speed and agility are the characteristics
of a great hockey player.  These skills can be taught in a variety of ways - both on and off the ice.

Our powerskating team sessions and clinics are designed to develop the fundamental skills of
skating and are based on the proven logic that good technique and consistent practice habits
develop strong skaters.  Using a wide variety of exercises and drills, we can successfully
increase the power and stride of your skaters and develop their speed and quickness to out
skate their toughest opponent.

Our system relies on the fact that quality, interval training combined with essential skating
technique is the best way to train for a sport like hockey.  The results are evident and pertain to
every age and skill level.

We offer year-round ice hockey programming including ice hockey clinics, summer hockey
camps and specialty ice hockey classes such as powerskating and stickhandling.
